Government Relations and Lobbying

The Federal Government is the largest single customer in the United States.  It is also the major source of funding for technology development that is critical for bringing many of our clients' new products to commercial status and market acceptance.

While the budget and appropriation process may seem straightforward on the surface, the actual process of approval and allocation of funds is more like an invisible labyrinth involving many players, both in Washington and in multiple home districts.

BSA's role in the appropriation process is to develop an overall strategy with the client, establishing realistic targets, expectations, time-lines with responsibilities, and then jointly working with Federal and Congressional decision makers (including key staffers) so they fully appreciate and support the value and benefit of our client's products or services to the Government and taxpayers.  In addition, BSA plays by the rules - all dealings and interactions with the government are in accordance with established laws and conducted with the highest level of ethics.

The Federal Government appropriation and procurement process can be long, arduous, and frustrating.  It also has very unusual timing demands.  BSA and its alliance partners in Washington D.C. simplify the process and work with the client every step of the way, making the overall effort truly rewarding in the end.
